Sylvia Wenker studied Drug Discovery and Safety at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), following the track Drug Design & Synthesis. After graduation she started her PhD in 2022 at the department of Medical Imaging in collaboration with the department of Radiation Oncology. Her project entails preclinical research to investigate the radiobiological and immunological effects of targeted alpha therapy for hypoxic tumors, under supervision of Sandra Heskamp, Sanne van Lith and Jan Bussink.
