Stefanos Margis
PhD candidate
Stefanos Margis studied in Greece and holds a Master’s degree in Physics with specialization in Experimental Physics. In September 2024, he joined the Nuclear Medicine group at the Medical Imaging Department for his PhD under the supervision of Sandra Heskamp, Frank Nijsen, Mark Konijnenberg and Giulia Tamborino. His PhD project will be focused on the dosimetry of targeted radionuclide therapy in cancer within the UNRANU project. More precisely, his research tasks will be to develop computational dosimetry models to calculate the absorbed dose in 2D and 3D for in-vitro and in-vivo experiments with the aim to correlate the absorbed dose with biological effects.
