Sevilay Tokgöz
PhD candidate
Sevilay Tokgöz studied Molecular Life Sciences and obtained her Master’s degree in Medical Biology (Neurobiology specialisation) at Radboud University. After graduating cum laude in June 2021, she started her PhD in September 2021 at the Department of Medical Imaging under supervision of Martin Gotthardt, Marti Boss and Cees Tack (from Internal Medicine). She focuses on several clinical studies about GLP-1 receptor imaging with 68-Ga-NODAGA-exendin-4 to visualize and quantify pancreatic beta cell mass and GLP-1 receptors in the brain of people with diabetes mellitus.
