Sanne van Lith studied Biomedical Sciences at the Radboud University, Nijmegen. She graduated cum laude in 2012 and did her PhD project at the department of Pathology of the Radboud University Medical Center, resulting in the thesis entitled 'How to kill cancer: starve it and shoot it'. In 2017 she joined the department of Medical Imaging as a post-doctoral researcher, and currently she is in a tenure track position. She develops and preclinically characterizes tracers for targeted photodynamic and radionuclide therapy in oncology, and she investigates the photobiological and radiobiological aspects of these therapies.
