Maike Uijen studied Medicine at the Radboud University, she received her Master’s degree in 2018 (cum laude). During her bachelor she was involved in research in the field of Oncology. During her master she conducted research in the field of primary care, first in Dublin (RCSI) and later at the Radboudumc. In April 2019 she started her PhD at the Department of Medical Oncology, in collaboration with the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine under supervision of Carla van Herpen, Martin Gotthardt and James Nagarajah. She will focus on radioligand therapy for patients with salivary gland cancer. This aim of this project is to evaluate the efficacy of 177-Lu-PSMA in patients with salivary gland cancer and to establish the optimal dosis (dosimetry).
