Lieke Claessens-Joosten


Lieke Claessens-Joosten studied Biomedical Science at the Fontys Hogeschool in Eindhoven, followed by the master Oncology at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. After graduating in August 2008, she started working as a research technician at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine of the Radboud University Medical Center. While working as a senior research technician, she started her PhD in 2015 and obtained her doctoral degree in 2020 with her thesis ‘Good, better, beta. Development and characterization of novel beta cell tracers. In 2019 she started as a postdoc and her research focuses on the development of a new targeted alpha therapy (TAT) for patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (Field-lab project).
