Twan van der Werff studied medicine at the Radboud university in Nijmegen. After graduation he worked as a non-trainee doctor at the urology department of the Radboud university medical center. His current research is focused on the implementation of radiolabeled antibodies in renal cell carcinoma, with the objective of facilitating more accurate diagnosis and future therapy. The PhD-trajectory is under supervision of Prof. Dr. Mulders (urologist), Prof. Dr. Oprea-Lager (nuclear medicine physician) and Dr. Muselaers (urologist).
