Sarah Verhoeff is a PhD student at the department of Medical Oncology and the department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the Radboudumc: Radboud university medical center, Nijmegen. After graduation in medicine at the Radboud University in 2013 she started her specialization in internal medicine for 4 years and will continue to specialize into medical-oncologist after finishing her PhD project. Her research project focuses on novel imaging techniques to predict the response of immune checkpoint inhibitors like PD-L1 in cancer patients. She is supervised by Otto Boerman, Carla van Herpen and Sandra Heskamp.
